Sub 300
The Dynaudio SUB 300 delivers precise, accurate bass despite a relatively compact bass-reflex enclosure. Its
newly developed 24 cm (10") woofer features an extremely rigid die-cast aluminium frame, geometrically
optimized for optimum air flow, a large diameter aluminium voice coil and a powerful magnet system.
The SUB 300 also features a 250W integrated amplifier module using Dynaudio's advanced CEC (Cone
Excursion Control) technology. The CEC circuitry allows the SUB to play deeper, louder and deliver higher
dynamics with lower distortion than conventional subwoofer designs quoting even much higher power ratings.
The anti-resonant driver is coupled to the cabinet on a stiff metal baffle that is itself fused to the rigid MDF cabinet
through a sheet of special damping material. This multi-layered sandwich construction further minimizes
resonance and the detrimental effects of such.
The included remote control allows all subwoofer settings - phase, level, crossover frequency, and extended bass
mode - to be both adjusted and stored right from the listening position. Four fully programmable presets each can
store all parameter settings into the subwoofer memory, allowing for independent settings for music, movies, late
night or party modes, for example, while allowing each to be simply recalled at the touch of a button.
The memory functions are also able to be write-protected through a switch on the back panel so that they are not
accidentally re-programmed.
