Dynaudio has introduced a new model at the top end of the Audience range?the large, floor standing, three-way Audience 82. Intended for mid-size to large rooms, this powerful giant is designed to provide high sensitivity and high power handling for extremely loud and dynamic audio reproduction.

And like all the speakers in the redesigned Audience series, this gentle giant offers incredible value for the money without any compromise on audio quality.
The large, floor standing, three-way Audience 82's heavy-duty MDF baffle combines maximum support for the drivers with minimum resonance. The Model 82 is housed in an attractive, round-cornered vinyl cabinet available in the three standard Audience finishes?the improved Black Ash and Light Cherry, and the previous Rosewood.
The cabinet is also equipped with a separate midrange chamber, and its side walls are lined with bitumen sheets to improve damping. The 28-mm soft-dome tweeter is an improved, customized version that incorporates many of the features of Dynaudio's renowned D260 ESOTEC tweeter. With a 4-mm die-cast front for maximum stiffness and vented pole piece and rear chamber for excellent transient response, the tweeter also utilizes magnetic fluid for exceptional power handling and damping. For the mid-range, a proprietary 15-cm ESOTEC driver with a one-piece molded diaphragm and a large 75-mm aluminum wire voice coil provide increased dynamic capability.
The Audience 82 also utilizes two newly developed 20-cm woofers with powerful magnet systems, 75-mm aluminum wire voice coils and one-piece molded diaphragms, enabling it to deliver long-term power up to 210W while maintaining the highest levels of sensitivity.
