The powerful neodymium magnets, the precisely formed aluminum voice coils, and the rigid MSP cone membranes require an extremely stable foundation to deliver maximum dynamics and an ideal impulse response.
The Contour S 5.4 utilizes two powerful woofers, and a dynamic midrange unit driver to deliver a perfect balance of power and finesse; of strength and speed, enabling a most impressive performance in any stereo or home theater system.

It also features the high resolution Esotar² tweeter, with its coated fabric dome, which allows every high frequency detail to unfold, uncovering even the most hidden sonic structures naturally and perfectly.

Midrange:
Die-cast chassis. 15 cm one-piece moulded MSP polypropylene cone. 38 mm pure aluminium wire voice coil, wound on aluminium former.
Woofers:
Die-cast chassis. (2) 20 cm one-piece moulded MSP polypropylene cone. 75 mm long throw pure aluminium wire voice coil, wound on Kapton.
Crossover:
Thick glass fibre-reinforced PCB with extra copper thickness. Capacitors with low loss dielectricum. Zero compression resistors with thermal coupling to heatsink. Inductors wound on “air cores”.
Cabinet:
20 mm MDF with internal MDF bracing and bituminous damping panels. Large 100 mm diameter vent with trumpet shape in both ends, vent plugs included. Available in different veneers, maple, cherry, rosewood, and black ash. Custom finishes upon request. Grille with magnetic lock system included. Spikes included.
